Seminar Doing Business in Romania, Katowice, May 14

Romania is a rapidly growing economy in the European Union and the largest economy in Southeast Europe. Last year, Romanian GDP grew by 2.2%, and according to forecasts for 2024 and 2025, GDP will grow by about 3.2-3.3%. Poland, with an export value to Romania of €7.6 billion, ranks as Romania’s 4th major trading partner.

Romanian companies mainly import chemical industry products, electronic products, foodstuffs, machinery and equipment, metals, plastic products. Polish companies can successfully seek their export opportunities in this market, but also set up a production, distribution, trading or service company or branch. Improving infrastructure from year to year, availability of funds for business development, strategic location in the region are just a few of the advantages the country offers.
