Seminar “Doing Business in Romania” – Poznań, April 28, 2026

On 28 April 2026, the seminar “Doing Business in Romania” took place at the headquarters of the Marshal’s Office of the Wielkopolska Region in Poznań.

The event was jointly organized by the Polish-Romanian Bilateral Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Wielkopolska Region Development Fund | Wielkopolski Fundusz Rozwoju, The Marshal Office of the Wielkopolska Region, and Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) | Polish Development Bank.

The seminar was dedicated to presenting practical opportunities for Polish companies interested in entering and expanding within the Romanian market. Participants received comprehensive insights into Romania’s current economic landscape, legal and tax framework, available financing mechanisms, and logistical considerations essential for successful cross-border business operations.

The agenda featured expert presentations delivered by representatives of key institutions and businesses actively engaged in Polish-Romanian economic cooperation, including the Polish-Romanian Bilateral Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Wielkopolska Region Development Fund | Wielkopolski Fundusz Rozwoju, Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) | Polish Development Bank, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), LYNX Romania, KPMG Poland, and Raben Group. Their contributions provided attendees with practical guidance on market entry strategies, regulatory requirements, investment conditions, and operational best practices.

A special address was delivered by Ștefan Porojan, Minister Counsellor from the Economic and Commercial Promotion Office of the Embassy of Romania in the Republic of Poland, who presented current investment opportunities and outlined the strong potential of the Romanian market for Polish businesses.
