VI International Economic Relations Forum in Opole

On April 16, the city of Opole hosted the 6th edition of the International Economic Relations Forum, a conference dedicated to international economic cooperation. This year’s edition focused on the Romanian market, highlighting its growing importance for Polish businesses. The event brought together representatives of the business community, business support organizations, and economic experts.

The Forum was organized by the Opolskie Centre for Economy Development (OCRG) with the support of:

  • Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) | Polish Development Bank – Strategic Partner.
  • Polish-Romanian Bilateral Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Partner.
  • Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) – Honorary Partner.

The Polish-Romanian Bilateral Chamber of Commerce and Industry was represented by Adam Sobieszkoda, Executive Director and Board Member, who also participated as a panelist in a discussion on the prospects and key factors shaping Polish-Romanian economic cooperation.

The event gathered representatives of business support institutions, economic experts, and practitioners operating in international markets. Among the speakers were also representatives of the Chamber’s member companies, including Raben Group, Selena Group, Crosswin Courier & More, and GTV BUS Romania, as well as representatives of Aluprof and Bilfinger Engineering Poland, alongside experts from Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH).

The Forum concluded with an inspiring keynote speech by special guest Małgorzata Rejmer, who offered a unique perspective on the social and cultural context of Romania.

We would like to thank all participants for their presence and active engagement. We are pleased that, as the Polish-Romanian Bilateral Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we could co-create this event and support the development of economic relations between Poland and Romania.
