On 29 October 2025, Warsaw hosted the high-level conference “Investing in
Romania: The Polish and Romanian Perspectives”, dedicated to exploring the
key aspects of doing business in Romania and the growing potential of its
dynamic, rapidly developing market.
The event was jointly organized by the Polish-Romanian Bilateral Chamber of
Commerce and Industry, KPMG Poland and KPMG Romania, Bank Gospodarstwa
Krajowego (BGK), the Embassy of Romania in the Republic of Poland, and the
Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH).
The conference brought together leading representatives of business,
finance, and public institutions from both countries. The discussions
focused on practical insights and real-life experiences of companies already
operating in Romania, as well as on new opportunities for Polish investors
in various sectors of the Romanian economy.
The expert panels addressed a range of important tax and business issues,
including:
- differences between Polish and Romanian tax regulations,
- available grants, investment incentives, and tax reliefs,
- transfer pricing and the implementation of the OECD Pillar 2
framework.

destination and logistics hub in South-Eastern Europe.
