PRBCC was one of the partners of the 7th edition of the Food Safety Congress under the slogan “The future of Food” and the 2nd edition of the Logistics Congress under the slogan “CSCMP CEE Supply Chain Conference”, which were held as two independent events on November 17, 2020 for the first time in the online version. There were about 1700 registered participants of both events, who took part in the plenary session, and then divided into 4 parallel sessions: CERTIFICATION, DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL TRADE, PACKAGING AND TECHNOLOGICAL NEWS (Food Safety Congress) and TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS, MODERN LOGISTICS FMCG / COSMETICS / PACKAGING, DIGITAL SUPPLY CHAINS and SCIENTIFIC SESSION (Logistics Congress). Congresses, as every year, gathered, among others representatives of food processing, suppliers of raw materials and materials for the production of packaging, certification bodies, commercial networks, suppliers of technological solutions, logistic companies, representatives of science, industry chambers and diplomatic missions.
The discussion panel “Three Seas – cooperation between ports and railways” was attended by representatives of the Ports of Gdynia, Szczecin (Poland), Koper (Slovenia), Constanta (Romania), Klaipėda (Lithuania) and the Euroterminal Sławków. Among the speakers was HE Ovidiu Dranga, Ambassador of Romania who in his intervention underlined the enormous potential of the development of road infrastructure, railway and digitalization projects, which could generate new investment and business opportunities, within Three Seas Initiative (3SI).
