Celebration of Polish and Romanian National Holidays in Bucharest

On Thursday, 20 November, the Polish-Romanian Bilateral Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a ceremonial reception in Bucharest to celebrate two major national holidays: Poland’s National Independence Day and Romania’s Great Union Day. The event underscored the long-standing partnership between the two countries and the growing dynamism of their business communities.

The reception gathered members of the Chamber, strategic partners, and representatives of Polish and Romanian companies active in both markets. Diplomats, entrepreneurs, and leaders of major institutions had the opportunity to meet in an atmosphere that blended formality with genuine openness to dialogue. On behalf of the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Romania, Consul Artur Tarasewicz welcomed the guests, emphasizing the value of strong bilateral ties, stable economic cooperation, and mutual trust as foundations for further joint initiatives.

Throughout the evening, participants engaged in discussions on emerging market trends, investment opportunities, and areas where closer collaboration could bring tangible benefits. The event served not only as a celebration of national milestones but also as a platform for strengthening professional networks and building new business connections.

An important highlight of the reception was the curated selection of regional products. Guests enjoyed elegant wines offered by Crama Știrbey, known for their refined character and deep connection to Romanian viticulture traditions. Complementing the wine was a range of exceptional cheeses from the Dairy Cooperative in Sierpc (OSM Sierpc), which quickly became one of the evening’s culinary favourites.

The warm, engaging atmosphere encouraged meaningful conversations and reinforced the sense of community between Polish and Romanian partners. Many attendees expressed appreciation for the initiative, noting its role in fostering dialogue and showcasing the potential of bilateral cooperation.

We extend our sincere thanks to all participants for their presence, enthusiasm, and contribution to creating an evening that not only celebrated shared history but also inspired future collaboration.
