On Thursday, October 10, the seminar “Doing Business in Romania” was held in Rzeszów. Our Chamber, together with the Subcarpathian Chamber of Commerce and the Rzeszow Regional Development Agency, were the organizers of the event, which was intended for companies from the Subcarpathian Voivodeship.
During the seminar, participants learned about business opportunities offered by the Romanian market for Polish companies.
The speakers, who were Agnieszka Olsen from the Polish Trade and Investment Agency, Jan Majewski from PKO Bank Polski, Marcin Pondo from Consulting Hungary, Aneta Romaniec from Raben Group, Aleksander Jakowlew from Kancelaria Hagen Law. The speakers introduced the specifics of the Romanian market, the e-commerce segment in Romania, financing of foreign trade activities, transport from/to Romania and legal aspects of establishing a business in Romania.
Our Chamber was represented by Adam Sobieszkoda, who talked about the Chamber activities in Poland and Romania.
The special guest of the seminar was Ștefan Porojan, Minister-Counselor from the Economic and Commercial Promotion Office of Embassy of Romania in the Republic of Poland. In his presentation, he emphasized Romania’s investment attractiveness and access to an educated and skilled workforce.
The seminar in Rzeszow was another seminar that our Chamber co-organized to promote economic cooperation between Poland and Romania.
