Seminar „Doing Business in Romania” – Lublin, March 18

On Tuesday, March 18, the seminar “Doing Business in Romania” was held in Lublin. Our Chamber, together with the Export Support Platform Lublin (Platforma Wsparcia Eksportu Lublin) and the Lublin Municipal Office (Urząd Miasta Lublin), were the organizers of the event.

During the seminar, participants learned about business opportunities offered by the Romanian market for Polish companies.

The speakers, who were:

  • Agnieszka Olsen, Head of the Foreign Trade Office in Bucharest of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH);
  • Kamil Bobka, Head of Marketplace & Digital Export of PromoTraffic;
  • Jan Majewski, Branch Director in Bucharest of PKO Bank Polski;
  • Aneta Romaniec, Sales Manager of Raben Group;
  • Aleksander Jakowlew, Managing Partner of Hagen Law;
  • Mariusz Klementowski, CEO of AmerPharma;

introduced the specifics of the Romanian market, told how to promote products on e-commerce platforms, how to finance foreign trade, how to set up a company in Romania and why it is beneficial, how to transport products to and from Romania in the most efficient way. An integral part of the event was networking between speakers and attendees, during which companies could learn more about opportunities in the Romanian market, as well as exchange direct contacts.

Our Chamber was represented by Adam Sobieszkoda, who talked about the Romanian market and Chamber’s activities.

Ștefan Porojan, Minister Counsellor from the Economic and Commercial Promotion Office of the Embassy of Romania in the Republic of Poland, was a special guest at the seminar. In his presentation, he emphasized Romania’s investment attractiveness and access to an educated and skilled workforce.

The seminar in Lublin was another seminar that our Chamber co-organized to promote economic cooperation between Poland and Romania.
